- How to reset the ink counter?
- 1) Push the paper feed button down for 4+ seconds (the print head will move into cartridge changing position).
2) Remove the provided sensor clips. You can replace them immediately.
3) Push the paper feed button down briefly and the printer will do a charging cycle (since it thinks you just installed a new cartridge).
You are ready to continue printing. The whole process takes a couple minutes.
(Note: Reset the ink counter for both the black and color carts at the same time. A charging cycle draws ink from both cartridges anyway so you might as well reset both and save time and a little bit of ink).
